Mark has been working in theatre in London since the early 2000s, during which time he has performed in and conducted many West End musicals and been MD for numerous productions at the National Theatre, RSC and Shakespeare's Globe.

Currently, Mark is Assistant Musical Director at Les Misérables where he has conducted over 250 performances of the Original Production at the Queen's, the Staged Concert at the Gielgud and the New Production at the Sondheim.

Other performing and conducting credits in the West End include Miss Saigon (Prince Edward), Crazy for You and Betty Blue Eyes (Novello), Oliver! (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Carousel and Fiddler on the Roof (Savoy) and Evita (Adelphi).

As a pianist, Mark recorded Stephen Warbeck’s scores for All of Us (National Theatre, 2020), Uncle Vanya (Harold Pinter Theatre, 2020) and Old Times (Harold Pinter Theatre, 2013).

 

Mark has been MD for numerous productions at the National Theatre including His Dark Materials directed by Nicholas Hytner, The Coast of Utopia directed by Trevor Nunn and the West End transfer of Jumpers, directed by David Leveaux.
